Certification of Quality
Fairmount Precision thermometers are manufactured to DIN (German) standards and are guaranteed to conform to the following standards of accuracy:
Psychrometric thermometers :
Measuring Range : -30 to +50 degrees C divided x 0.2 degrees C
or
-35 to +45 degrees C divided x 0.2 degrees C
Accuracy* : -0.1 to +0.2 degrees C (DIN 58660)
Largest permissible error within the total range : 0.2 degrees C
Largest permissible error within any 10 degree section of the scale : 0.1 degree C.
Maximum thermometers :
Measuring Range : -30 to +50 degrees C divided x 0.2 degrees C
Accuracy* : +/- 0.2 degrees C (DIN 58654)
Largest permissible error within the total range : 0.3 degrees C
Largest permissible error within any 10 degree section of the scale : 0.1 degree C.
Minimum thermometers :
Measuring Range : -40 to +40 degrees C divided x 0.2 degrees C
Accuracy* : +/- 0.2** degrees C (DIN 58653)
Largest permissible error within the total range : 0.5 degrees C
Largest permissible error within any 10 degree section of the scale : 0.2 degree C.
* Fairmount Precision thermometers can be supplied with individual Calibration Sheets with the thermometer serial number indicated at extra cost
