This is a new instrument, one of a batch we made for a Meteorological department recently. It is a genuine instrument, identical in every way to the batch of 30 we made for them.
We decided to make a few extras, taking advantage of economies of scale and offer them at a bargain price to give our customers the opportunity to own this collectable item.
The unit pictured is a Tropical version but we can also offer the unit as a Temperate version which has a bowl cut at a sharp angle to suit latitudes from 40 to 65 degrees North or South. Specify which you require, Tropical or Temperate, at time of order.
We can issue a Certificate with the instrument stating it's serial number and date of manufacture if required. I have no doubt that these will become tomorrows antiques!
